An entire year has past since Renesmee's birth and the confrontation with the Volturi, and now the Cullen family are finally getting back to normal, their bond as a family stronger than ever. Regardless of this, things are far from being normal. Tensions between the Cullens and the Wolves are at an all-time high since the treaty was broken when Bella was made into a vampire, and the wolves are out for blood, killing any vampire they see on sight. A war is brewing between the shifters and the vampires.

Alice's visions have been fading, but she knows that there is something major coming. If only she could tell what it was! The Cullens cannot hunt without risk to their existence and the wolves are literally howling at their door. But the coming war might just be bigger than the Cullens and the local Quileute wolf packs.
