These Dark Times{Marauder RP}

The year is 1979 and the Marauders are in their seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Life seems to be perfect inside the castle. Classes, Fights between other houses, and Romances are part of their lives. The infamous Marauders have settled down as this year happens to be the hardest with the N.E.W.T.s exams coming up. The group of four boys have never quit their pranking and that won’t happen for a long time. Teachers are being more watchful of their students and giving out detentions as well as advice on their chosen careers. Many of the students are thinking about the unlimited possible career choices they will have once they graduate. They will think about joining the Ministry, trying out and playing for professional Quidditch, and even becoming a Healer at St. Mungo’s. In this environment one simply cannot ignore the possibility of a war that is looming on the horizon.

A wizard calling himself Lord Voldemort has gathered followers at his command. The group that calls themselves the Death Eaters. They follow their master’s orders as well as beliefs. Beliefs that only purebloods should be allowed at Hogwarts. Purebloods are inferior to the Halfbloods and Muggleborns. The latter two should be serving the purebloods instead of getting a wizard’s or a witch’s education. Alongside their master they set about killing and torturing many innocent people. Men, women, children. The Death Eaters have taken up a sport called Muggle Killing. There is a group of people that are against the Dark Lord and have rallied around Albus Dumbledore. The Order of the Phoenix is made up mostly of wizards and witches who fully support the Headmaster and want to see an end to the mass killings. As time goes on, the prospect of a war cannot be ignored. People are afraid they would be the next to die. Their family targeted. The Dark Mark hovering above their homes. People are going missing and end up dying. Fear is rising as well as the upcoming war. How would you fare in These Dark Times?
