Alice is a very fashionable person, and has a love for shopping in expensive stores, in expensive shopping malls. Although she is extremely close to her sister Bella, nothing can weaken the bond between her and Rosalie who she loves dearly. Alice is also extremely protective of those close to her, but none more than Jasper, she'd give her own life for him, even going as far as to leave the Cullen's if it came down to it.

HISTORY Alice was born into a middle class home in Biloxi, Mississipi in 1901. Her Father was a Jeweler and pearl trader, whilst her Mother tended to their home. Alice has had premonitions since she was a child, though they weren't always correct. Though Alice never spoke of her power, people did talk about her all the way through her teenage years. After warning a friend and her cousin of a vision she'd had, she was quickly branded a 'witch' when they ignored her, and it came true. Alice also had a vision of her Mother being murdered by a stranger, although her Mother did believe her, her Father did not and quickly silenced the women. Months later Alice's mother was killed, though her death was ruled as accidental and Alice, although she argued otherwise, was quickly silenced by her Father once more.

In little over six months, Alice's Father remarried a blonde woman from Illonois. Alice suspected her Mothers death had been planned by her Father, who was offended when she suggested it. Though when she had a vision of her Father and her Mothers killer, planning to kill her Alice ran away. Her Father however had told the town his daughter had gone mad, she was captured and locked away in the asylum. Her head was shaved for fear of a typhoid outbreak and she endured electroshock therapy which caused her to suffer total amnesia, which restored her naturally cheery and humourous self.

A vampire who worked at the asylum befriended Alice, and would often test her power by hiding objects on himself when he went to visit her. One day she had a powerful vision of a tracker coming after her after he caught a whiff of her scent. The vampire looking after Alice immediatley took action, biting her and taking her away from the asylum, in the process sacraficing himself. James later found her, but found her blood fully turned so he left her alone to see how she would turn out as a vampire. When she awoke alone in a cabin in the woods, the pain of the venom, like the electric shock treatment, erased all memories of her human life. Alice immediatley had a vision of Jasper Whilock becoming her mate and a her future with the Cullens.

Alice developed her conscience all on her own, which kept her from feeding on humans, though her success was sporadic. However thanks to her visions, and knowing she would one day meet Jasper and join the Cullens, Alice began practicing her vegetarian lifestyle, whilst waiting for her mate to show up. In 1948 Alice was waiting in Philadelphia for Jasper, by know she had immense control over her thirst, comparable to the Cullens. Jasper showed up and she was extremely excited to see him, claiming he'd kept her waiting a long time. Jasper reciprocated her feelings very quickly, and in 1950 they joined the Cullen family marrying soon after.

Years past, and Alice grew to love her adopted family immensly, hers and Jasper's relationship flourished. Alice for the last half a century has supported her Mate with his constant battle with his thirst, she is extremely protective of him. When Bella first met the family, Alice welcomed her with open arms, already having seen her as the new member of their family. Despite the others protests, Alice always knew Bella would be one of them, and often encouraged it. Bella became a close friend, a sister, Alice loves her as such. When Bella became pregnant with Nessie however, for the first time Alice's visions failed her, and she was one of the ones who opposed the pregnancy, since she was no longer able to see Bella's future with them.

Nessie was born however and Alice grew to love her, being one of the ones to take thousands of pictures of the growing baby whilst Bella was going through her change. In preparing for their battle against the Volturi, Alice left her family, making them believe her and Jasper had walked out, whilst she went to search for something to help them in the battle. Things worked out for the Cullens, they formed new alliances. Alice's future as of right now is a mystery even to her, though one thing is for sure...there's something dark headed their way...
