PLAY-BY Taylor Lautner CLICK
HEIGHT 5'10"
WEIGHT Jacob weighs 185 pounds of pure muscle, not an ounce of fat on his body. His firm bodied and has amazing bulky muscles instead of their leaner counterparts. Technically he's a little bit "overweight" for his height, but Jacob doesn't let it bother him since he's far from being fat. The muscle is all natural and mostly uncultivated.
HAIR Naturally black and very straight, Jacob wears his hair short since he phased for the first time. He keeps it cropped close to his skull and it's usually just slightly on the untidy side.
EYES The color of rich chocolate, from a distance, Jacob's eyes look almost black. There is a sort of a softness in his eyes, but the expression around them and often in his mouth gives him a somewhat harder look, as though he's always ready to snap to attention or simply snap. This is in large part due to his temper, and if the eyes are the windows to the soul, then his eyes speak a lot about his general temperament.
FEATURE Jacob has a ready mouth, always ready to kiss. It has a pouty look about it, something that might otherwise only be attractive in females but which somehow really suits his face. His smile is just as beautiful, a flash of white teeth that brightens his entire face from jaw to eyes.
STYLE Contrary to whatever anyone else may want to believe, Jacob isn't always shirtless. No, on the contrary, he prefers comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict his movement. If this means stripping off his shirt, it has nothing to do with attracting the ladies, but more with convenience. Shirts get in the way. Sometimes. In truth, he's much more comfortable wearing comfortable, loose shorts with a belt and a loose-fitting t-shirt or long-sleeved tee. He needs to be able to move in his clothing, and that matters a lot more than the style itself. He's a seventeen year old guy. Who needs style anyway?

OVERALL
Jacob spent most of his life as a normal, easy going kid. He was happy-go-lucky with an excellent outlook on life and a sarcastic sense of humor toward his tribe while still taking pride in his heritage. Most people got along well with Jacob and he was a good friend to everyone who needed him.
But everything changed when Sam Uley began to segregate the teenagers in the tribe, pulling some of them to the side while others were left behind. The "gang" changed Jacob's life and his personality forever when he phased for the first time, and discovered that the world was the not he peaceful place he had once thought it was. Instead, it was inhabited with creatures that had only inhabited his nightmares, and now he was a different boy, and not a boy at all, but a man who was filled with all the rage that only a shapeshifter or a werewolf could possess. His life is dedicated to one purpose; the eradication of the vampires. Now he is angry, aggressive, and full of all the rage of heartache combined with a very real purpose; the destruction of all the leeches.

HISTORY
Jacob was born in La Push, Washington into a small tribe of Native Americans known as the Quileutes. His entire life has been spent with the tribe, of which his father is the leader, and he takes a great deal of pride in his heritage. Although the tribe is fully modern, Jacob, like many others of his generation, has always reveled in the old legends of the tribe, but without giving a lot of thought to the possibility of them being anything more than legend. After all, who believes old superstitions anyway?
When Jacob was nine, his mother died in a car accident, leaving his father, him, and his older twins sisters, Rebecca and Rachel, behind. Since then Jacob has been in the sole care of Billy Black, and he has been raised by his father and by the tribe. He's always had an active social life and Billy has never been fully alone in parenting him, but he's also never been a particularly difficult kid, in spite of his sarcastic sense of humor.
For the next few years, it was just the four of them. Then both Rachel and Rebecca moved away, and Rebecca married a Hawaiian surfer. But life with Billy was good, and Jacob enjoyed La Push and his friends on the reservation. There was nothing really for him to complain about, and he took life in stride with good humor. He was a good friend to those who needed him and he always set out to help other people.
But everything changed when he was fifteen and Bella Swan rolled back into his life. They'd known one another years before, when they were just little kids on the beach making sandcastles and mud pies. But now, she was grown up, seventeen, a woman. And hot. She was everything that he liked in a girl: Beautiful, self-effacing, quiet, and... Well, hard to get. He had to admit that there was a part of him that enjoyed the chase.
At least up to the point when he realized that there was no point in chasing what he couldn't have. She was in love with the hottest boy at her school, and though his relationship with Bella was only on-again, off-again, he was still jealous as all getout. So imagine Jacob's great joy when the hot boy from school, a pale-skinned menace named Edward Cullen, disappeared from Bella's life.
But the joy was short-lived when Bella retreated into a world of dark depression where nobody, not even her father Charlie, was able to reach her. Jacob's heart ached for his friend, but there was nothing that he could do. And to make matters worse, his friends were also retreating from him. Paul, Jared, Sam and the others, leaving behind only a few of the boys who used to be friends, until it's just him and Quil left. Jacob resented the "gang" of Sam's because of his exclusion more than because of the changes in their personalities, but the effect was the same; Jacob was lonely.
While Bella was depressed, Jacob did his best to move on with his life, working through school and his general mechanics projects. Then, one day she reappeared with two broken down dirtbikes. Jacob helped her to get them fixed up, and the two of them spent a lot of time together. It was then that Jacob decided that Bella had the same feelings for him that he had for her, and he was determined to make her his. She rejected him at every turn, but he knew that if he could just be persistent enough, she would eventually come around.
And she would have, too. If that rotten SOB Edward Cullen hadn't come back into the picture. As the two of them got closer and the looming threat not only of the vampire Victoria but of Bella's actually becoming a vampire herself got closer and closer, Jacob's anger became increasingly real to him and to those around him. He still loved Bella, and he always would, but he would never forgive her for finally allowing herself to be taken over to the dark side and turned into a vampire herself....
Now Jacob's anger is all encompassing, and his rage is barely controlled. Although he refuses to directly threaten the Clan, he is confused and unsure of even his own motivations, let alone the motivations of his pack...

RP SAMPLE
There was something about the rain that only managed to make Jacob's mood darker as he slammed the front door behind him and took off at a run from the house he shared with his father on the Quileute reservation in La Push, Washington. With the rain came the a sort of hazy heat that made sweat bead on his skin, though he hardly felt the heat any more, only the droplets of moisture that came from his body and not from the sky. A low growl ripped out of his throat as he tugged his t-shirt up and off over his head and let it fall by the side of the path that led to the dirt road. Sprinting for the woods, he was barely conscious of his intentions as the ripping feeling spread through his body as it changed from human to wolf and he took off into the woods, the voices of his pack brothers and sister ringing in his mind. He could hear the sounds, though not with his ears, and he shook his head with the sensation that there was an unpleasant insect buzzing around the fur tufts at the ends of his large ears.
The ground was wet beneath Jacob's paws as he tore off into the woods, needing to get away from the constant mental battle with the rest of the pack. Wasn't it bad enough that he couldn't get it out of his mind? The mistakes that he'd made, the ways that things might have been different if he'd only just done a bit to try just a little bit harder. Maybe he could have saved Bella in time, and maybe he could have won her heart.
After a moment, Jacob realized that the voices had softened, and he stopped, skidding to a halt until his rump rubbed in the dirt. He closed his brown eyes and looked up toward the sky, staring up through the trees and allowing the rain to splash against his damp fur. His throat rumbled again, and he shivered, then took off again at a slower pace, just needing the space and the time to think about what he was going to do, the plans that he was going to make. The other wolves were imprinting, finding their mates, and though he knew that Bella had never been his intended, he couldn't help but feel the sting of her rejection. It might never wear off, no matter how often his father had encouraged him to simply let it go.
After nearly another mile of silent contemplation, Jacob finally got to where he was going, and stopped at the edge of a large stream. He bent to drink from the cool, flowing liquid of the running water, then lay down, putting his head on his large paws so that he could have some time to think. He hadn't smelled leech out here in at least a week, and he felt that he was safe. Besides, the warm, welcome scent of one of his pack members was close behind him, and he knew that he wasn't alone.*

* I'm running on the premise that if a character isn't played by a player character, then it's okay to power play/meta game them. If that is not okay, that's not a problem. See my response to "experience."
