PLAY-BY Jennifer Love Hewitt
Dallas is one of those girls who has the kind of body that every girl wants to have. She is tall and slender, with long, lean muscles that belong to the body of a dancer and really nobody else (of course, that could be because she's a dancer!). Her hair is shoulder-length and a shiny dark brown, and her eyes are large and brown. Dallas is very proud of her body since it's something that she has carefully cultivated over the years, and she works out and dances regularly to keep her figure.
In spite of her figure, however, Dallas's appearance isn't perfect. It's a rare thing that she allows her back to show since there is a long, deep burn scar that covers the entire length of her back. She was burned in a car accident when she was twelve years old, and she tries hard to hide those scars, though it's sometimes impossible in a leotard.
YOU AND ME. THAT'S THE ONLY
--------- thing that matters. the only thing you're allowed to think about now.
--------- thing that matters. the only thing you're allowed to think about now.
Dallas is "that" girl in every school. You know the one. The girl who looks down on everybody else who isn't just like her. Most people feel as though she's constantly looking down her nose at other people, and that could be in large part because she is. Her attitude is a mile wide, but mostly due to the fact that she's had to do a job of raising herself. There's a lot of buried hurt for Dallas, and she tries hard not to let it show to other people.
Most of the time, Dal doesn't know that she's being rude. She wants to make friends and is surprised when she's rejected for friendships due to her overall attitude. Every rejection is another stab that only makes her increasingly bitter toward those who don't accept her and which also chases her toward the elite class of dancers she hangs with at the local ballet school.
More than she is rude or hurt, Dallas is passionate about ballet. She knows she's unlikely to make it doing anything related to dance, but she wants it so badly that she swears she can taste it, and she pushes herself hard through broken toes and aching limbs. If she can't be a star, maybe at least she can be a teacher, right?
YOU COULD RUN FROM SOMEONE
-------- you feared, you could try to fight someone you hated.
-------- you feared, you could try to fight someone you hated.
Dallas had the perfect family. A mother, a father (who were in love with one another no less!) an older brother who was married to a wonderful woman he loved and who had a baby of his own, and of course herself. They were happy together, her parents and her, and she loved her little niece with everything in her. Sean was a wonderful older brother and she spent a lot of time with his wife as well, helping out with the baby.
But when Dallas was twelve years old, she was in a car accident that would change her life forever. Her father was driving home from a New Years Eve party in Seattle. Her mother, brother and his family were there as well. In the front seat were their parents and Dallas and her brother took one side of both of the back two rows of seats in their SUV. The car slid on the ice and careened, rolling, and with it took the life of both of her parents and Sean's wife and infant. The siblings were the only ones left behind.
Since then Dallas has been living with her older brother. They don't always get along, but they are closer than anything else in the world. She adores her brother and has always done everything that she can to soothe away his hurt, often to her own detriment. She hasn't dealt with her own healing, and she's working hard to make some progress, but getting nowhere, especially due to her lack of friends.
