“Now that I can believe.” He said, there was no doubt in his mind he’d see Leah angry soon enough, a part of him simply hoped it wasn’t in fact aimed at him. He’d witnessed a bit of that anger before and the thought made him smile, she certainly was a fiery one...one may say she was perfect for someone like him. He needed someone who challenged him, pushed him to the limit, someone who wasn’t afraid to put him in his place, or at least try to. Leah was perfect, there was no doubt in his mind, sounded like they were made for one another. He’d be the first to admit, imprinting had never been something he was a supporter of, Noah had always craved the freedom to choose his own women to love, but he was finding right now he didn’t care.
At her words he frowned, was there that much tension in her pack? The way she spoke of them with such anger and distaste didn’t sit right with him. As far as he was concerned your pack was your family, your kin, no matter what you stuck with one another, you were one, and only stronger when you were together. His own pack worked as a machine, fluidly, together there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. “I’ve always found that to be the way with family, annoying as hell but they’re still family...”he said, pulling his gaze from her and looking out over the horizon. The sun was beginning to set, signalling almost the end of another day. He sighed, he wasn't ready to leave just yet but knew he'd have to, he only hoped she'd agree to see him again.

Her eyes flitted over to Noah briefly, listening silently as he spoke; a rare thing indeed. Family... yes, she supposed they were in a strange way because just like she would do anything to protect Seth, Leah knew that when it came down to it she would protect her pack brother's just as passionately. Shaking her head slightly, Leah smiled to herself. How was that in these past few minutes since meeting Noah she already felt so much more at ease with herself? Felt calmer and dare she say it, happier? Things seemed to slot together so much more easily, without effort or because it was the only way to make things easier for both her and those around her.
"Yes, but you always get that one family member that never makes situations any easier." Leah reminded him. "And that's always been me. But then, I never really wanted to be part of that family... I've always hated it and never helped to make things better." She was just that sort of selfish person. Always it had been about her and what she'd wanted, never what the boys had needed. Just how she would bring up hurtful thoughts such as Embry and how he had gotten the wolf gene since he was actually a Makah...
Leah paused in thought, her smile widening. Well at least her new discovery of Noah and his Makah pack would ease up a lot of tension with regards to that. None of the boys would have to wonder who's father had cheated with Embry's mother. He probably just had the Makah wolf gene instead. "I should probably go... my pack will wonder why I've been gone for so long. I normally make these trips as short as possible these days. But feel free to come round soon and get some of that wood I promised any time soon." She added hoping she didn't sound too eager about wanting to see Noah again. But the truth was, she did and even now she didn't really want to leave his side.
