Isabella sped through the wolf lands, they weren't off bound anymore, not since she had been turned. But Bella wasn't going to give up her baby, her Nessie, she was determined to live and if Edward hadn't of turned her then she would have been dead.
Bella sighed as she ran up to the edge of the cliff, memories drifted back from when Edward thought she was dead, how he gave himself up to the sunlight to welcome death. Bella had thrown herself off these cliffs, and who had come to the rescue? Jake of course. Bella shuddered, memories of seeing Victoria flooded her mind, she shook them aside.
She allowed the salty sea air to drift through her chocolate thinned hair, her golden red eyes glittered softly as she looked over the cloudy horizon, a sad smile formed across her face, she missed talking to Jake. He was like her brother, but now they where sworn enemies and it was her own fault.
Bella sighed, Edward was at home with Nessie so she was able to come out for a run, supposedly for a hunt. She hadn't hunted in a long while, secretly she had another craving other than hefty mountain lions. She was trying to resist as much as possible, and she hadn't told Edward - she didn't know what to do. Bella ran her fingers through her hair, feeling flecks of salty water sting her eyes, she was clueless and technically still a newborn.

It seemed as though nothing had been calm in... well, just about forever. Since he'd met Grace, and since the imprint, everything about Jake's life had changed. There was a brand new purpose to it, something for him to live and to die for, and he couldn't have asked for anything more, or better, than what he had. Grace made him happy for the first time in forever, and he felt settled and at ease with himself. But that didn't mean that there wasn't still a lot of tension brewing in La Push and Forks, Washington. His pack wanted the Cullens dead. He wanted them out of their territory so that they wouldn't get killed (or at least so that Bella wouldn't get killed) but he was out for Edward's blood. He killed her. And for that I will personally be the one to end his existence. Jake growled and tossed his head, then scratched at his ear with his back paw as he took off for the cliffs. He didn't plan on diving, but it was a good place to be by himself, and it was somewhere he could always count on to be alone if he didn't want the pack to bother him too much.
Changing Bella meant her death, whether Edward saw it that way or not, and Jake wasn't going to put up with it. He just had to think about what to do. He wasn't happy about the pack, but he also wasn't happy with Bella or her decisions. He'd wanted to talk to her and to leah when he'd imprinted, but that wasn't what drove him to where he was right now (in more ways than one). But as he headed out, the sickly sweet smell of death met his nose and his eyes watered as he stepped onto the cliffs, already prepared to spring when he caught a glimpse of Bella Swan (Cullen) and stopped in his tracks. So not what I need right now.

Bella smelt the wolf come up from behind and instantly she recognized the scent as Jacob. She sighed, her red rimmed copper eyes glistened, "Jacob?" he voice strained. It was as if she knew it was him, the wolf she had always known, but it wasn't. They were both in separate worlds now, and nothing could be changed. Maybe she should have stayed with Jake, but she loved Edward more, in so many ways. Jake was simply like her brother, the sibling that she had never had before.
She sighed and stepped off the cliff, she blinked, "I'm so sorry Jake" she said softly, those where some of the first words she had said properly to him since she had been changed, "Can you change back" she paused, "Or you can just run away and pretend I don't exist, on another note you can rip my throat out" her humour obviously had not changed one bit, still dry and sarcastic.

Does my being half naked bother you?
Changing back would mean being naked. It wasn't as though it would be the first time that Bella had seen him without any clothing on, but it did seem wrong, and he tossed his head back, nearly letting the howl in his throat rip out of him. But already the pack knew that he had Bella cornered, and the flashes of temper in his mind made him tense. He sat down on his haunches and stared at her, then forced the change to happen. He curled on the ground, his hands pressed between his legs as he sat Indian style on the ground, his body hidden from her view. "If you have something to say, say it. You know how we feel about the treaty being broken."
Jake wasn't sure how he felt about Bella since everything had changed. He'd never been sure that he'd stick by her when she became a vampire and the truth was that he still wasn't sure that he want to. He eyed her suspiciously, not liking being in his human form around the vampire, golden eyes or not. He'd been in love with her, and there was a part of him that still was, but he had Grace now, and Grace was something he wouldn't discuss with any leech.

from the ice inside your soul;
Bella looked around when he shifted, she felt so nervous being around Jake, she didn't know why. For some reason she was on edge, maybe it was because the treaty had been broken, and that was her fault of course. Everything was her fault, ever since she became Mrs Cullen, everything had become her fault. Nessie was her fault, she wanted a child and she wasn't going to give up her baby, not that she would now because in reality now, Bella wouldn't be able to have a child. But that wasn't really the issue; when Bella became a vampire, two main things happened, the peace treaty was broken as was her and Jacob's relationship.
And that's where it left her now, in a broken relationship with a wolf she still held love for, he'd always be a brother to her, even if he didn't return the feelings. When Jake told her to talk, she looked over at him with her soft golden eyes, they oozed like caramel, she didn't know what to say or do. Bella's legs told her to run, her instincts told her to kill the wolf, her sworn enemy. The vampire sighed, "You want me to talk Jacob? Fine I will, I'm sorry about my decision, I was rash and I was never fair to you now I think about it. You promised me you'd stay by my side until the day my heart stopped beating, and you did" she blinked harshly wrapping her arms around herself "Sometimes I regret it Jake I really do, but other times I don't, I love Edward and I will do forever, you've always been the brother I never had, but I could never picture you as more. I'm sorry Jake, I shouldn't even be here, I already screwed up your life and now I think about it, i'm pretty sure i've screwed up mine. I've ruined the treaty and ..." Bella looked away briefly into the trees before returning her gaze, "I've lost you forever" she whispered quietly as one lone tear dropped down her cheek. "I'm sorry Jacob, I know you won't listen, I know you'll hate me forever along with the rest of your pack, but I just want you to know I'm sorry" she looked down at the ground.
Bella sighed and true to form, her clumsiness hadn't disappeared with her mortality she realized as she stepped backwards, almost loosing her footing. If she had been human she would be plummeting to her death right now and if she were still human good old Jake would rescue her as he had done the first time. Bella stepped forward, suddenly feeling weary of being so close to the edge, she breathed out and returned her golden gaze to the wolf man in front of her.

Does my being half naked bother you?
Jacob stared up at Bella as she spoke, listening, his ears alert to her and his mind alert to the warning sounds of the pack. They weren't happy, and if he was honest, he could understand why they weren't happy with him. He stared at the vampire, fighting off every urge in his body that told him that he had to lunge at her and tear her limb from limb. He didn't like to be in human form around any leech, and it didn't matter that it was Bella or if it was one of her family. It didn't matter what the color of the eyes, they were all the same, and they all lusted for blood. She could crush him in an instant, even if she was no longer a newborn. His wolf form kept him safe.
But when Bella said that they were never more than brother and sister, his back stiffened, and, naked or not, he moved to his feet, his arms at his sides and his head held high, jerking his chin in the air as he stared at Bella. He'd never felt that way about her and he was certain that she knew it. He had Grace now and there was no reason for him to feel the way that he did, but he couldn't shake it. "Brother. You loved me like a brother. Well that's just fine, Bella." He took a deep breath and turned before he let the beast take over total control, his form changing against his will as he burst into the trees just in time to catch the sound of Bella tumbling off the edge of the cliff. Let her be, he heard Sam say in his head. She'll head home in a few hours, soaked. We'll fight this another day.
Jake growled, but obeyed, barreling through the trees at top speed.

from the ice inside your soul;
"Jacob!" Bella called like she had all those times before, You idiot, BROTHERS? What the hell where you thinking by saying that? she asked herself even though she didn't know the answers herself. She shook her head, she had upset him even more and now she knew that they where finished, but deep inside him somewhere he still had feelings for her and Bella knew it, otherwise he wouldn't have stood up abruptly like he did. Bella thought by saying that she would make things better, like she always knew what was right, fat chance, she was always wrong. In every single subject.
Isabella sighed as she watched the brown wolf dart off into the forest, back to his pack, she knew that they expected him to kill her and she was thankful that he hadn't tried. Bella didn't think she could ever harm Jacob or stand to watch her family hurt him. She bent her eyebrows inward, her mind puzzling, she had one massive headache, "I guess vampires aren't immune to everything" she chuckled to herself as she leapt into the pine forest herself, the opposite direction in which the wolf before her had trailed.
Bella flung herself from tree to tree, in lightning speed in the direction of the Cullen estate, her home. She jumped from the side of the riverbank, gracefully flying through the air and swiftly landing on the other side. She stretched as she walked towards the door, Just remember, it's your fault everything's as it is her mind told her. She just shook the thought away, but sooner or later she'd have to face the truth.
